Sales and Marketing Manager; Office Manager
Ruth has been with Sequoia Mobility, Inc. since the company began. Previously, she worked for a large insurance company for 11 years, but she decided it was time for a change. “Here, I am able to be in touch with the public, especially the elderly, and help them through the confusion of private insurance, Medical and Medicare. I put my experience with insurance to work for them, but every day is a learning experience.”
Sara Vander Weide
Medical Billing
Sara has been with Sequoia Mobility, Inc. since August, 2008. She served her externship here while earning her AS in medical billing at San Joaquin Valley College, and was hired upon graduation. Sara enjoys the problem-solving that comes with working with insurance companies, and helping people understand their policies and coverage. “I like working for a small company. We all get along really well and I get to know everybody.”
Samantha Regalado
Customer Service
Samantha earned her certificate as a nurse’s assistant and, during her training she discovered the joy of working with and helping the elderly. In her role as customer service representative for Sequoia Mobility, Inc. Samantha receives prescriptions from clients, helps fit them with their medical equipment and makes sure the equipment is covered by their insurance. “I really like helping elderly people, and the environment at Sequoia Mobility, Inc. is so friendly – it’s like another family.”
Ruben Olivera
Service Technician
Ruben is responsible for repairing durable medical equipment for clients, repairing power chairs, lift chairs and more – whether it was purchased through Sequoia Mobility, Inc. or not. Ruben came to Sequoia Mobility after five years as an aide in radiology at Kaweah Delta, and 11 years prior at Kaweah’s Cancer Center. “When I can make people happy it is very gratifying. They come to me in a time of need and it feels good to help them out.”
